Robin and I are recently back from photographing another amazing destination wedding at the Hard Rock Hotel in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. I’ve just started working on the images but I can’t resist posting these images from the welcome party. After the rehearsal (if that’s what you want to call it, lol), the wedding party and all the couple’s guests (over 70 which is unusually high for a destination wedding), attended a welcome party hosted by the couple. During this party, the siblings of the bride and groom had the group doubled over in laughter! The grooms sisters started off by letting Chase (the bride) know that it was not actually their brother Brett she had picked on Match.com, but it was them. They were taking credit for writing his entire Match.com profile.
Then, the brothers of the bride shared a video where the two of them re-enacted the couples first interactions chatting on Match.com, all the way to their first meeting (in front of Target?). The group was filled with so much joy and laughter and it was fun to see the couple themselves doubled over enjoying it all. Everyone including myself was laughing so hard along with the couple ,that it was impossible not to just enjoy the moment and forget about anything else.
Destination wedding welcome party.
Congratulations to Amanda and George Casiano!
It was such a joy for Focal Instincts Photography to be a part of your amazing day in Seal Beach, California on July 27, 2013. George and Amanda looked amazing on their special day. Amanda with her classic hollywood glamour style and George looking especially handsome for his bride. The location was perfect and the weather cooperated perfectly! The Rivers End Cafe is just a short walk from the pier where Amanda has so many memories including her proposal from George. The perfect backdrop for the perfect romance.
